Heat sink size and spacing

If I wanted to upgrade the stock heat sink with a bigger cooler, what size is the heat sink, how high does the chip extend off the board, and what is the push-pin hole spacing? Don’t really want to power off to measure just yet. Also I’m not super experienced with heat sinks to be able to eyeball it and say “ah yeah it’s a such-and-such standard”

Looking at the component placement PDF I measure the chip 25mm x 25mm and the holes are opposite corners of a 32mm x 32mm square. but wanted to confirm?

The LS1088 BGA is 23x23x2.5mm (at the top of the heatspreader).
The standard heatsink is 27x27mmx28mm.

32x32mm square is indeed the dimensions for the push-pin holes.

We have evaluated a few other heatsinks over time, and in practice every vendor has their own set of hole sizes. But if you find the nearest matching size, you can usually drill out one of the ends to allow the push pin to sit at it’s original position.
